French fries offered by ZPS Makow have been produced with the use of carefully
selected fine potato varieties. There are two types on offer-French fries and
crinkle-cut fries. They can be prepared by frying in vegetable oil or roasting in the oven.
Basic rules for proper fries preparation:
- Use only fresh vegetable oil.
- Preserving the proper proportions of French fries to the oil, for example, 100 grams of French fries per 1 liter of frying fats or oil.
- Keep constant frying temperature approximately 180 °C.
- Don’t defrost fries before frying.
- Prepare fries serving to be eaten just after frying.
- Keep in boiling oil until golden colour ( about 3-4 minutes).
- Drain properly after frying.
- Add some salt just before eating (thus making them crunchy).
- Eat with gusto. Excellent with meat or fish or as a proper meal.
- Remember to change oil frequently (used for too long may be harmful to health).
